Google Maps mashup of Starbucks closures

Keir Clarke has posted a cool Google Maps mashup of all the Starbucks locations that are closing. I didn't realize that a Valley location (in Brownsville) is one of the stores that will be shutting down. All three main McAllen locations survived, not to mention the ones inside Target store locations in west McAllen and Mission.

I heard recently that the coffee shop inside Barnes & Noble was no longer Starbucks and that the quality of the coffee had suffered terribly.

Speaking of coffee, I recently tried the McDonalds iced coffee with sugar free vanilla syrup, and it was better than Starbucks. Cheaper too. Of course, Moonbeans of McAllen still beats them all.
